Name:     Division V:  Geomagnetic Observatories, Surveys and Analyses

Role: The main objective of the IAGA Division V is to promote appropriate standardization of geomagnetic data acquisition systems, observational and survey programs, geomagnetic indices, data dissemination and analyses, and geomagnetic models at global and regional scales.

Modus operandii: The Division conducts its business through three Working Groups (see below), scientific symposium and business meetings at Assemblies of IAGA and IUGG, IAGA workshops, and through the web sites of Div-V and each WGs.
